The original name still used in its place of origin, the state of Oaxaca is Quesillo. When it began to be sent to Mexico City, it took the name Oaxaca Cheese. Made from fresh cow’s milk, Oaxaca Navarro Cheese combines well, without losing presence, with Mexican food, but without being exclusive to it.
Recognized for its flavor, its rolled shape forming a ball as well as its ability to unravel and melt, make Oaxaca Navarro Cheese a special ingredient.
Use it for: Melting, Snack, Sliced, Gratin, and Chicharron
Navarro Oaxaca Cheese was awarded Winner Bronze in the World Cheese Awards 2019 and 2016
