Have you tried hibiscus water? It is refreshing and will fill your table with color.
Agua de Jamaica (Spanish for Hibiscus Water) is a very popular, delicious, and refreshing drink that can never be missing from the dinner table of Mexican families.
Hibiscus Flower can be used both in cold drinks like this hibiscus water and hot drinks, such as hibiscus tea.
Preparing this delicious flavored water is very easy. It has a slightly sour taste, similar to that of cranberry, so sugar is added to soften it. Once sweet and chilled it has a fresh and exquisite flavor.
Note: The amount of sugar used in this recipe is the amount that is regularly added. We recommend reducing the amount (or not using it at all).
